Russia-linked Marsha Blackburn joins Jason Goodman conspiracy show under N.Y.A.G. watchful eyes
OPINION AND EDITORIAL
Many Internet observers seem to think that conspiracy theorist Jason Goodman operates an alleged public relations rehabilitation center for those touched by Russian corruption probes.
Ironically, both PFC Patrick Bergy (a former Goodman side-kick) and Jason Goodman apparently had Russian ex-wives. Then there is the eerie video of Goodman speaking fluent Russian to a New York City street bum from the Ukraine. And then there are those crazy drone flights over Chernobyl by a company that Goodman assumed control of as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) a week later.
The latest personage with Russian clouds hanging over her head seems to be Goodman's newest guest on his so-called "crack-pot" conspiracy podcast, "Senator" Martha "Moscow" Blackburn of Tennessee.
On the latest spectacle of the Goodman conspiracy show alleged Russian operative Charles Ortel (see RT social media podcasts) acts as a screener of sorts for Marsha Blackburn. It seems Ortel's job may be to screen out the difficult questions that have surfaced about Blackburn.
ENTER THE NRA AND RUSSIA
Things become sticky when examining Blackburn's campaign manager G. Kline Preston, IV. In 2011 apparently Preston brokered deals between the National Rifle Association and Russian parties.
This brings up images of Maria Butina, a Russian espionage agent that infiltrated the NRA to allegedly launder Russian money to Republican political candidates.
The Tennessean has reported that in addition to representing Blackburn on campaign finance questions, Preston has claimed Alexander Torshin as a Russian client and longtime friend. Torshin is the prominent Russian politician with close ties to President Vladimir Putin who is now under scrutiny for illegally channeling Russian funds through the National Rifle Association in an effort to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election. According to the Tennessean, Preston first introduced Torshin to then-president of the NRA David Keene in 2011, and the pair attended the NRA's annual convention in Nashville in 2015.
ENTER THE NEW YORK ATTORNEY GENERAL
To further confuse the situation the New York Attorney General (N.Y.A.G.) filed a major corruption lawsuit against the NRA in April 2020.
As a courtesy to Jason Goodman, staff members of the office of the N.Y.A.G. were informed of the Blackburn appearance on the conspiracy podcast. This may be helpful to any on-going corruption investigation.
